Spain has won the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) Women’s World Cup for the first time ever. Spain beat England 1-0 in the final of the Australia-New Zealand Women’s World Cup 2023 at Stadium Australia in Sydney, Australia, on 20 June, thanks to a goal from Olga Carmona. Spain made history by winning the tournament for the first time in eight years, despite being a ‘latecomer’ to the tournament since the 2015 edition in Canada. Spain also became the second country in world football history to win both the men’s and women’s World Cups, joining Germany.바카라

Spain also avenged last year’s European Women’s Football Championship (Women’s Euro 2022) quarter-final defeat to England. The Spaniards lost 1-2 in extra-time to England, who went on to win the tournament.

Spain beat Costa Rica 3-0 in their opening group game, followed by a 5-0 thrashing of Zambia, before losing 0-4 in their final match against Japan. However, they bounced back with a 5-1 win over Switzerland in the round of 16, and defeated the Netherlands and Sweden in the quarter-finals and semi-finals to reach the final.
