NC Dinos ace Eric Peddie took a beating against the Kia Tigers.
Peddy made the start against KIA on Aug. 31 at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju,온라인바카라 but was removed from the game after allowing seven runs on eight hits with three walks and three strikeouts in three innings. It was the first time this season that Pedi, who is 16-5 with a 1.97 ERA in 22 games and 132 1/3 innings pitched, left the mound after less than four innings. It was also the first time he allowed seven runs in a game. The outcome was even worse than the previous two days against the Lotte Giants, when he gave up five runs on nine hits (one home run) in four innings with one walk and two strikeouts.
Pedi has been extremely dominant against the KIA offense this season. In 14 innings over two games, he allowed just eight hits while walking none and striking out 12. In both games, he pitched seven scoreless innings to earn the win.
However, the no-hitter was broken in the first inning. After giving up a leadoff single to Kim Do-young, Pedi allowed a stolen base while striking out Na Sung-beom. With two outs, he gave up a double to Choi Hyung-woo in right field for the first run of the game, ending his scoreless streak against KIA. Pedi walked Socrates Brito, but got Kim Sun-bin to ground out to end the threat.

After getting out of the bottom of the second inning with a triple play, Peddie seemed to get a boost in the top of the third inning when the team’s bats came back with three runs.
But the bottom of the third was a nightmare. After giving up a walk and a stolen base to leadoff hitter Park Chan-ho, Peddie scored his second run of the game on Kim Do-young’s double to right-center. He got Na Sung-beom to fly out to right field for the first out, but gave up back-to-back singles to Choi Hyung-woo and Kim Tae-gun to load the bases. With runners on first and second, Byun Woo-hyuk hit an errant ball to right-center that was misplayed by second baseman Park Min-woo, putting runners on the corners again, and Choi Won-joon got a grounder to first for the second out, but gave up a double to left-center to Park Chan-ho for the seventh run. Pedi barely made it out of the inning as Kim Do-young’s straight hit was sucked into the first baseman’s glove. However, his pitch count increased from 35 to 78 before the end of the inning.
